Who we are and how do we operate.
Bond It Shop is an independent retailer and proud stockists of the ‘Bond It’ range of products, we are not affiliated with the manufacturer themselves and only use the Bond It Shop name with permission for trading purposes. We should not be confused with ‘Bond It’, the manufacturer of Bond It Products.
We are an independent shop/stockist. However that said we aim to replicate and honour the high level of customer service the manufacturer gives us as a retailer, to you the customer, we will in all cases do our best to advice and resolve based on our own actual product use and available technical information. Technical documents, information and any advice given, is and should only be taken as a guide to satisfy yourself, upon receipt of the product you can fully satisfy yourself, or choose to return the product without use to us.
All Bond It products are manufacture backed, should you have any issues once you have used the product, please in the first instance message us or Bond It, there is rarely any issues and should we not have any experience of the issue, we may ask you to contact the manufacturer to determine what has gone wrong and to try to resolve the matter, we will honour a replacement or refund as instructed by the manufacturer if it is deemed to be faulty in anyway.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Any and all personal data we hold is for processing of orders, we use it for the sole purpose of shipping your order, we do not send unsolicited mail with exclusion to transactional related, such as invoice, order completion/dispatch. The data we hold is limited to the details you enter at the checkout here or on other shopping platforms. This data is held in accordance with PCI compliance and although we operate to the same standards, our checkout is also fully compliant for payments using debit/credit card and PayPal, however and in addition all payment facility’s are further secured and no data relating to your payment is stored by us.
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. Google recapcha for example.
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Any personal data you enter will be used solely for communication/reply to your message.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
If you edit or publish a comment, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
We do employ the service of Google analytics for helping to improve the website, we only collect anonymous data, however Google and it’s partners may track, we advise to opt out at google.com/cookies if you prefer.
Who we share your data with
Payment processors, possibly the manufacturer if required, postal services/couriers for shipping orders. Nobody else to our knowledge and best efforts of security.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
For orders and shipping, data is retained for warranty period of 1 year at least, after which it is anonymised. We may also elect to anonymise data at any given point for security purposes so it is advised to retain your payment receipt or invoice as proof of purchase.
What rights you have over your data
If you have placed an order with us or created an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where we send your data
Shipping providers such as Royal Mail, DHL for the purpose of shipping. Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
